EarthCraft House
EarthCraft House is an innovative green building program that provides home builders with a set of guidelines to construct energy-efficient and environmentally-friendly homes. The program standards were developed in 1999 through a unique partnership between Southface Energy Institute and the Greater Atlanta Home Builders Association, government and environmental leaders. Together, they created one of the country’s most progressive home building programs. The Home Builders Association of Virginia (HBAV) and Virginia Sustainable Building Network (VSBN) were excited to introduce the program to Virginia in September 2006.
